Racing Interface Rules

You are here

We offer daily racing from tracks within the USA  (and some other regions) via the racing module which is accessible once you have logged-in to your wagering account.

When you make a bet through the racing interface the ticket will show the time that you made the bet.  For grading purposes this will be compared to the time recorded by that the race actually went off.  The time on your betting ticket must be the same time or earlier than the "Off" time for the wager to be valid.

Bets shall not be accepted after the advertised post-time (the official time that the race is due to begin).  All races will go off the board at least 1 minute before the official post time at the track.  In the event that the race begins before the advertised post-time and for that reason (or any other reason) you are able to place a wager after the race has started, that wager will be void.

We do not offer Pari-Mutuel betting.  Bets made through our racing software are not entered into the track pools.  We book all bets ourselves. Straight wager (win, place, show) payoffs are based on a $2 minimum bet which is standard at tracks.

Prices displayed in our racebook are morning lines (M/L).  Payouts are based on the actual track payout.  The morning lines are for informational purposes only and not used to calculate the payout.

Odds and Limits

Win, Place and Show wagers pay full track odds.  Payoffs are based on the actual track payout.  The morning lines provided when wagering via the Racing Interface are for informational purposes only and not used to calculate the payout.

There are no house odds.  If there are no track payoffs for a certain type of wager, all wagers on that type will be refunded.

The betting limits per ticket are as follows:

  • Win and place wagers: a maximum of $1000
  • Show wagers: a maximum of $500
  • Exotic wager combinations: up to a maximum sum of $1000

All Exotic wagers pay-out as stated in the table below.

Scratches
If a horse is scratched, all Win/Place/Show wagers placed via the racing interface will be refunded. (This does not apply to 'Odds to Win' bets placed via the sports betting interface. On those bets a scratch counts as a loss).

In the case a horse is considered a non-starter by the track, that horse will be considered a scratch and refunded accordingly.

Coupled entries: If one of the horses in a coupled entry is scratched and the other one races, there is no refund. However, if both horses are scratched, bets are refunded.

In exotic wagers (Exacta, Trifecta, Superfecta, Quinella) the portion containing the scratched horse will be refunded. We do not honor ‘all’ payouts in any exotic wager even though the track may do so. In the case that there is an ‘all’ payout on a particular race, we will replace the ‘all’ payout with the rightful winner of that race and/or position.

On Daily Doubles, Pick 3 and Pick 4 wagers, a scratch will result in an automatic refund of the combination including the scratched horse. There will be no consolation payouts. No special track payouts will be recognized:

Pick 3 and Pick 4 Grading and Payout Rules
All PK3 and PK4 tickets are paid out based on the official race results as published by the host track at which the race was run. If there is a scratched horse in any PK3 or PK4, only combinations including the scratched horse will be refunded.

We do not recognize consolation payouts, such as payouts on scratched horses, 2 out 3 special Pick 3 payout and/or 3 out of 4 special Pick 4 payout. Whenever a track pays "ALL" in any of the positions of the Pick 3 or Pick 4 only wagers with the WINNING horse will be paid. In case a race is declared “No Contest” the position “ALL” is not valid and bets will be refunded.

Daily Double Grading and Payout Rules
All Daily Double tickets are paid out based on the official race results as published by the host track at which the race was run. If there is a scratched horse in a DD, only combinations including the scratched horse will be refunded.

We do not recognize consolation payouts, such as payouts on scratched horses. Whenever a track pays "ALL" in any of the positions of the Daily Double only the wagers with the WINNING horse will be paid. In the case that a race is declared “No Contest” the position “ALL” is not valid and bets will be refunded.

International Races
We list each International horse separately concerning betting types. We do not list a (F) Field entry for betting purposes on races. Example if a races lists horses 1-20 then a field of entries 21-30, we list all 1-30 separately.

Official Source of Results

For thoroughbred racing we use www.equibase.com as our official source of results.  For harness racing we use www.racingchannel.com or the tracks’ websites.  In the event of a discrepancy, we will contact the track for the official result.

Matchups (made via the sports betting interface)

The following rules apply to horse matchup bets made via the sports betting interface.

  • In matchups between two or more named horses, all horses must start and finish the race with the jockey on top for wagers to have action.
  • Matchups are determined by horse name. Any information pertaining to race number, race track, etc are for courtesy purposes only.  Also, any track coupling is irrelevant towards determining the winner of a matchup.
  • In matchups between one named horse and the Field, wagers will have action if and only if the named horse starts. Scratches of horses in the Field will not affect the standing of the wager.
  • Matchups are not eligible for rebates.
  • The winner of a matchup will be determined by the highest placed finisher involved in the matchup.  If neither horse finishes the race with the jockey riding the horse the matchup will be graded no action.
  • Matchup wagers which indicate ‘Turf Only’ will be cancelled if the surface is changed.
  • In the case of a dead heat, the matchup will be graded no action.

Greyhound Racing Rules

  • We accept bets for greyhound races advertised on our website up until post time.  Only wagers confirmed are accepted.  Once you confirm a bet online, your wager is considered final.
  • Win, Place, Show wagers pay full track odds.  All exotic wagers pay full track odds up to a maximum pay-out. (Please check Track Limits and Categories).
  • Pay-outs are based on the actual track pay-out.  The morning lines provided when wagering over the Racing Interface are for informational purposes only and not used to calculate the pay-out. Once the Race is graded, your account will reflect any pay-outs.
  • There are no house odds.  If there are no track payoffs for a certain type of wager, all wagers on that type will be refunded
  • Management reserves the right to refuse or limit any wager and to restrict wagering on any event at any time without any advance notice.
  • If a greyhound is scratched, all Win/Place/Show wagers placed via the racing interface will be refunded.
  • Only the portion of Exacta/Trifecta/Superfecta/Quinella combos that contain the scratched greyhound will be refunded.
  • In case a greyhound is considered a Non Starter by the track, that greyhound will be considered a scratch and refunded accordingly.
  • In exotic wagers (Exacta, Trifecta, Superfecta, Quinella) scratches will be refunded.  We do not honor "ALL" pay-outs in any exotic wager.  If there is an "All" pay-out, this will be replaced by the greyhound that came in that position rightfully and wagers will be graded accordingly.
  • All Daily Double and PK3 tickets are paid out based on the official race results as published by the host track at which the race was run. If there is a scratched greyhound in any DD or PK3, only combinations including the scratched greyhound will be refunded.
  • We do not recognize consolation pay-outs, such as pay-outs on scratched greyhounds. Whenever that happens the Daily Double and/or Pick 3 will be paid with the rightful winner for each race involved in the DD and/or PK 3.
  • Whenever a track pays "ALL" in any of the positions of the DD or PK3 only the wagers with the WINNING greyhound will be paid.
  • In case a race is declared "No Contest" the position "ALL" is not valid and bets will be refunded.
  • Greyhound wagers are not eligible for our rebate program.
  • All Greyhound tracks are considered as Category E for pay-out limit purposes.
